FAQ
How long have you been collecting tins?
I found my first tin at a yard sale in New Bedford, MA, sometime around 1984.
I collected them sporadically over the years until December 2005, when I began this series of constructions. Now I buy them constantly, everywhere I go.
Can I donate to your tin collection?
Yes, please!!!!
But I thought you were a painter, why are you doing this stuff?
Because its way more fun.
Do you cut yourself on the tin?
Yes.
Do you have a day job?
Yes! I photo edit for a big ol dot com, headquartered in Redmond.
Do you wish you could just stay in your studio and work on the tins all day long?
Absolutely not. Its much too much work. Besides, pixels and tin are a perfect combination.
Will you post your new work on your site as soon as it is finished?
No. Its not cost effective to have them shot one at time. I have to wait until I have a batch. If you want to see whats new, just let me know and I can either send you a snap shot or if you are in the Seattle area, come on by.
Got more questions? Just send em on over.
